The Shawnee Volunteer Fire Company was established in 1947 and proudly serves approximately 2,500 residents of the 7.6 square mile area of Wheatfield NY in addition to our neighboring communities throughout Niagara County as part of an extensive mutual aide system. Shawnee Fire Department operates out of two stations with Station 1 located at the north edge of our district on Lockport Road and our Station 2 located on the south side on Shawnee Road. 

Shawnee a 100% volunteer organization comprised of approximately 50 members who specialize in a wide range of skills related to fire prevention and suppression.  Shawnee VFC operates a wide inventory of fire suppression equipment specifically designed to best suite the needs of our community.
